Ode to Brendan Fraser
on a cold December day in ‘68, B-Frase blessed this world. His birth ushering in the summer of love in ‘69. As the world rejoiced, Brendan would still just a baby, living in what we know today as Indianapolis, Indiana. He wouldn’t stay in indy long but he was born here so points to indy there. When b-frase was 11 he ran away to join the circus and accidently joined a traveling theatre troupe. Along with being a total thespian, The Fraser has been in like 21 movies and tons of tv appearances. The camera just loves this guy. The Mummy is probably the main movie you thing about when you thing of the Frase, but there’s so much more to him. There’s the mummy returns and the mummy: the tomb of the dragon emperor. There’s even a mummy were they couldn’t even get b Fraser so they had to settle for Tom Cruise. Rumor has it that every single night while filming the mummy B frase threw a surprise birthday party for a different cast member regardless of when their birthday actually was. What a guy! He converted his costar in Encino Man, Pauly Shore ( see also Goofy Movie) to become a fan of the Indiana Pacers. Just heart of Gold. But it doesn’t stop there. He is also court ordered to donate $900,000 from the Kindness of his heart to his ex-wife and mother of his children, Afton Smith. ( I think its pronounced like “often” but i didn’t do any research on that part) Like what a good guy. Truly a goal we could all strive for, Be half the person Brendan Fraser is!
So next time your presented with an opportunity to laugh at the fraser just remember how much of a nice guy. He has a had some past few years, but this is the start of the Brendan-Frasissance !!! 2021 The Year of Frase…
But the real Reason I’m writing this is because I’m embarking on a new journey that I’d like to Invite you on. I’m going to watch all of his movies and write my review of it. I counted up all his movies from his wikipedia page and there are 41 movies he’s in. Hopefully Ill finish before 2021! I’m going to start with his First Lead Role in a film, Encino Man. some say its amazing some disagree so there fore its a cult classic i guess.
